Drinking water sampling and analysis must adhere to current Public Health Department (County and State of Florida) methodology. Bacteria samples must be placed on ice and received by the certified laboratory within 6 hours of sample collection. The VA/FHA drinking water parameters are: Total Coliform , E. Coli, Nitrate, Nitrite and Lead. The receiving certified lab must have a Chain of Custody FORM completed by the qualified sample collector and the receiving laboratory.
